Are they a bender, or not? Are they an able chi-blocking artist, or do they sell cabbages out in the streets of the Fire Nation, Ba Sing Se, or even in the South Pole? Do they have to ride the large naval ships of the Fire Nation to get across, or do they have access via beautiful steampunk-inspired ships...?

1. Welcome, Avatar — You are the Avatar. Enjoy learning all four kinds of bending! And, perhaps, the secret fifth one.
2. Cactus Juice — Thirsty in the Si Wong Desert, or wherever you happen to be? Not a problem, open up a cactus and enjoy the juice, or buy it from the establishment nearby. It's trippy.
3. Fight Fight Fight! — You're challenged to a duel, or an Agni Kai — save your honor! Or disrupt it, whatever sets you on fire.
4. Pro-bending — We hope you know the rules. If you're the Avatar, please stick to one element or you're disqualified. Don't you want to win?
5. Chi-blocked — Suddenly, your bending abilities were taken away! Or were you the one that blocked their skills?
6. There is no war in Ba Sing Se — Get ready to escape Lake Laogai, if you can, or are you there to save someone?
7. Underground Library — The Knowledge Spirit has allowed you to read.
8. I'm ready, Sifu — Are you a bender, a humble fighter, or a beginner? Either way, your training starts now! Impress your masters, have fun with your classmates.
9. Is that a Polar bear-dog? — One animal plus one animal makes a crazy combination! Ready to ride a sky bison, or are you ready to run from a pack of armadillo lions?
10. The Cave of Two Lovers — Were you bothered by a band of hippies, and ended up here? Good luck finding your way out. Maybe the riddle they told you would be useful right now. ("Love is brightest in the dark.")
11. Cart riding in Omashu — Using the delivery system as your personal slide. Don't crash into too many houses, now.
12. Kyoshi Island — Want to ride the large Elephant Koi, or the Unagi? Or are you exploring, or a protector of the Island?
13. Wildcard — Lost in a swamp, losing yourself in the Avatar state, or did you drink the wrong tea? The choice is yours!

[Without even really thinking about it, Rydia calls up a wall of earth to shield her from the flames.]

Leave me alone! I never did anything to you!

[But since she's not expecting him to listen to that, the little girl pulls a boulder from the ground and chucks it at him.]

[The boulder just barely flies past him, Kain using his flames to blast upward into the air. Of all that he can do with fire, this is well known as a favored move of his, using his power to soar far above his enemies. As he lets himself descend, he starts shooting fireballs at the tiny Avatar.]

You're wrong about that, you've done something deserving of death... you were born!

[Rydia crouches, causing the earth to form a protective shell around her. She starts to wish she had an airglider, for a quick escape. But...this man needs to be stopped, and her stubbornness keeps her from fleeing. She's the Avatar; she's supposed to solve problems, not run away from them.]

I'm not going to let you! Just because I'm little doesn't mean you can get what you want!

[Manipulating the earth once more, she caused the earth shell to explode outward, hoping to knock him back with the pieces.]

You cannot defeat me! I'm from one of the greatest firebending families of all!

[Except the earth is quaking very suddenly underfoot, making it impossible for him to regain his position and try that flying trick again. Kain counters by unleashing a stream of fire toward the girl, letting the inferno rage and burn as hot and strong as he can make it.]

[Unfortunately, he's also thrown back by the exploding rocks at the same time.]

[The young Avatar turns her attention to quelling the fire with her own firebending, holding it aloft in her hand as she gets ready to send it back at her attacker. She narrows her eyes at him, growing more stubborn the more he speaks.]

So? You just have one element. I have them all!

[And she has something else...though Rydia has yet to unleash the Avatar State in this life. Maybe Kain will provoke that.]

That hardly matters, I'm a master of my one element... you're just a child who knows nothing of combat!

[Except he finds himself dodging flames and taking a moment to regain himself before he again returns to the offensive. He takes to the air and then shoots down at her with fire as he descends toward her.]

[Rydia cries out and tries to dodge his attack, though his fire singes part of her cape and there's the smell of burnt hair. She glares at him for that, backing away.]

That's not true! I had to fight for my life lots of times, like WHEN MY VILLAGE BURNED TO THE GROUND!

[And whenever Kain takes the the air again, Rydia's going to change things up. It's time for some airbending, and maybe driving him into the ground or flinging him away with a sudden blast, whichever she can get.]

[...oh... whoops, that was his fault, wasn't it? And now. Here he is. Trying to kill a little girl. She's the Avatar though, he has to remind himself, so she doesn't count as some ordinary child.]

[The winds blasting at him also throw the flames back his way and he cries out as he goes downward amid burning fire. But he recovers quickly enough to lash out with her again with a burning blade of fire, aimed at her.]

If you'd surrendered yourself right away, your village didn't have to suffer...

[How. Dare. He. Rydia screams in anger as she bends the flames back at him.]

Don't you try to blame me for what YOU did! YOU decided to kill people, not ME! You're nothing but a coward! I HATE YOU!

[Her eyes glow briefly, a spark of what is to come?]

[Kain grimaces as he avoids a potentially nasty burn, just barely getting out of the fire's reach. Her words definitely pain him, even coming from a child.]

How you feel about me doesn't matter... Your time in this world is over.

[He puts all of his anger into the next burst of flames that he shoots at her.]

[Rydia doesn't have time to bend the next burst of flames, but she manages to tumble away, skidding to a stop. She's getting close to the edge of that cliff, but doesn't even glance back, her focus being on the firebender.]

I'm still here! Is that all you can do?!?

Hardly. I'm only warming up.

[Kain smirks on seeing how close she is to the edge. Just a little further. If the flames don't take care of her, the full surely will. He unleashes some more flames, this time in the form of a firewhip, with which he lashes out at her repeatedly. He's trying to get her toward the edge of course, hoping to unbalance her enough to fall...]

[The little girl tries to redirect those flames as best she can, concentrating on that so much that she doesn't realize how close she is to falling. That last whip lash sends her skidding past the edge with a shriek, and she only barely manages to cling to it at the last moment....]

[With a cruel smirk, Kain strides over toward her. He has her right where he wants her.]

It's over, Avatar. Time to die.

[And he closes in, prepared to start prying her hand from the edge...]

[Rydia shrieks as her hand leaves the edge and she plummets...but a moment later, all is changed. She rapidly ascends on a whirling spout of air, her eyes glowing. With the voice of countless generations of Avatars, she speaks.]

It's NOT over!

[With that, she unleashes a powerful wind blast in his direction.]

[The wind knocks him backward, slamming him into the ground heavily. He gasps in astonishment at seeing her glowing eyes... the Avatar state! Kain hurries to get some flames in front of him to protect himself.]

[The Avatar's gaze is relentless, as is her approach, and she soon draws the winds around her, as well as earth and fire. If there was water present, it would certainly be included. Kain's fire only adds to her own, augmenting the flames.]

Enough, Firebender. Stand down. You will not be warned again.

[...uh oh. Kain struggles with the flames, trying to regain control. But his attempts are all futile against the power of all the elements being used against him.]
