[It's been a long day. Between studying for her entrance exams and wrangling Ryuji to get him to concentrate on his schoolwork, Makoto hasn't had much time to focus on anything else. She's in full "mom" mode right now, so naturally her first question to Ren is:]

Have you started studying for finals?

[She's exhausted and probably looks it too. Any longer in the library and her persona might turn into a book.]

Yeah, I started last week. [He knows he tends to get lumped in with Ryuji and Ann and their study habits (or lack thereof), but he's actually trying hard to keep up his studies. It keeps Sojiro happy, and it throws suspicion off him if he acts like a model student, too.

He looks Makoto over once and asks,]

I should ask whether you've stopped studying for finals.

I can stop when they're over. [Which..yeah. She's well aware she's being a robot again, but there's still a bit of sis in the back of her mind, nagging her to go to a good school and go further in the world.] Maybe I need a little help?

[Not with studying. She's done it enough to be an honor student, but the fun thing? She's never really known how to do that.]

[And he could use the break from studying, too, though admittedly not as much as she needs it.]

Want to go to Dome Town? There's something I have in mind.

Something you have in mind? It's not the throw up rides, is it?

[She might be able to take it though, given that she's never had a weak stomach.]

What are you planning?

No, not this time. What do you think about bowling?

[It's fun, and something she might actually be good at, compared to struggling through something like an arcade game.]

There's a bar there too, so we can relax with a drink after.

I think I remember my dad taking me to bowl when I was small.

They have the colorful bumpers along the side of the alley right?

I think I'd like that. You can't laugh at me though when I keep striking out. That's the term right? Striking out?

The bumpers are usually for kids... though we could request them to put them up while you practice for a few rounds?

A strike's a good thing, and a strike out is consecutive strikes, so I'm sure I wouldn't laugh.

No, it's baseball that has strikes that are bad.

Don't worry, sports terms are confusing when they're similar. Even I can't always keep track.

I've never played baseball before, but maybe we could try the batting cages in Yongen sometime, too.

Maybe the day of exams? I might want to release some steam.

What about darts? I think I might be better at that.
