[What had she done? Should she leave a stranger to the mercy of her friend? This was a bit awkward if she were telling the truth. Setting up these things was something she couldn't claim she had experience in. But the right thing to do would be to hang around probably and take any and all blame should things go south. Not that she suspected Yusuke was dangerous, or even a jerkass. But if things went there, she could be there to fix what she started.]

We're grabbing pizza after the exhibit closes if you're not busy.

[Yusuke's expression lights up, and he nods eagerly.]

I'm not busy at all! That would be wonderful, thank you.

[Then a thought occurs to him, and his expression falls.] Ah, but I will probably just buy a drink... I don't have any money for a meal.

Starving artist life is quite real. We were going to split the cost of a whole pie anyway and see who could scarf down the most slices. Might as well have a third party to try to stop that madness and steal some slices to even the playing field.

[A beat.]

That's pizza politics. But really, it's not like we'd be able to finish the damn thing on our own.
