[Vergil just gives a long-suffering sigh, ignoring Dante yet again. He begins to calmly approach the demon, observing for now as he sizes up its potential weak points.

While he's keen to get the kill first before Dante can, he's also careful not to look too eager... You know, in case his little brother gets the wrong idea and thinks he actually wants to help out.

After those few moments of observation, he vanishes in a haze of blue, reappearing at the ankles of the demon and unleashing a broad slash at its ankles. The objective is to bring it down to its knees quickly, or at the very least, reduce its mobility.]

[ ok, so much for breaking the ice with a couple of jokes. he just huffs a laugh and pivots, turning to watch as his brother unleashes a flurry of strikes on the demon's ankles. it howls in anger, swiping at him, but because it's not the most coordinated it misses and turns its heads down on vergil to spew hot magma. ]

[ dante takes this opportunity to dash forward, vanishing similarly, except his own haze is red, and he reappears behind the beast. ]

Hey! [ he starts firing ebony&ivory at it, trying to get it to turn around and face him. he knows the guns probably aren't doing very much damage, but he's really just trying to piss it off, so it doesn't focus on trying to roast vergil. ] You sick or something? Because I've got just the prescription; some .32 caliber aspirin!
