[Aqua was disappointed in herself at the lack of progress, and had left her wondering if the report had been false. Unversed were attracted to people and the lack of activity was either very suspicious... Or nothing to worry about at all. She was wondering whether it was best to leave or stay, when she was offered dinner.

The unexpectedly kind gesture was something she was too polite -- and admittedly too hungry -- to refuse, although she couldn't get rid of the feeling she was being a bother.]

We have some contacts, yes. I'd been hoping to avoid attracting too much attention on this matter, but if we continue to find nothing, I see little choice but to consult them.
